The first day of school was full of energy, optimism, and excitement for the year ahead. The fifth graders shook hands with their teachers, greeted their friends, and shared stories as they walked to their new classrooms. In the classroom, Ustadzah Emma led an energetic chant, and the students enthusiastically followed along. Their excitement filled the room with a positive spirit. After that, the students attended the program orientation, where they were introduced to the exciting activities and learning experiences they would enjoy throughout the year. They eagerly looked forward to every agenda.
On Wednesday, we had an outdoor learning activity. The students went on a long march to the park, where they worked together and played a variety of team-building games. Each game required cooperation, communication, and problem-solving skills. They did their best to complete every challenge and earn points for their teams. The activities included Verses Hunter, The Flying Ball, Pigpen Cipher, and Math Treasure. Their laughter echoed throughout the park, making the day a joyful and unforgettable experience.
Throughout the Kick Off program, the students participated in many meaningful activities, such as toilet training, role-play, pro-prayer sessions, English games, disaster mitigation, and many more. Every activity was designed not only to make learning enjoyable but also to develop responsibility, confidence, discipline, teamwork, and Islamic character.
The Fifth-Grade Kick Off was more than just a welcome program—it was the beginning of an exciting learning journey. Through every challenge, game, and shared experience, the students built stronger friendships, discovered new skills, and prepared themselves for a year full of growth and achievement. With enthusiasm in their hearts and smiles on their faces, they are now ready to explore, learn, and make wonderful memories together throughout the school year.
